My Knee

Well I have done it again! I hurt my left knee (the one I had surgery on back in '02) playing dodgeball with the 7th/8th grade girls in PE. I purposefully did not play flag football so that I wouldn't hurt my knees again. I was innocently running towards one of the 8th graders about to PEG her with a ball when I felt my knee give out...I felt the pop too! Boy did it hurt! STINK!! Worse...I didn't even hit the girl. ; )

It was a fast recovery...I was able to walk on it the whole time. I didn't even have to take off work. By the following week...it was back to normal except a little stiffness and pain.

I had an MRI on the 11th and the P.A. Juli called me back to say I tore my ACL completely and my Meniscus again. AHHHHHH MAN!! Are you kidding me...is what I thought! I didn't even break a sweat!

So I will look into having surgery this year! Seeing as how I have already made my deductible!
